Student Research Lives Here
Through observation and experiments, biologists gain an understanding of the nature and functioning of the living world, integrating this knowledge with the aid of chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Students at the University of Dallas explore biology through an active learning process that incorporates hands-on experience in the laboratory and field. Students engage with a diversity of techniques from a wide range of biological sub-fields and have an opportunity to learn to use high-tech equipment such as our Scanning Electron Microscope.
